Jonathan Fellerer
Jonathan Fellerer, M. Sc.
Short Biography
Jonathan Fellerer is currently working as a research assistant in the Smart Energy research group at the Chair of Computer Networks and Communication Systems. He is pursuing a PhD in energy management.
From 2010 to 2015, he studied mechatronics at the University of Applied Sciences in Deggendorf, followed by a master’s degree in mechatronics at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg until 2017, where he specialized in control engineering, modeling and automation, as well as simulation and optimization. During his bachelor studies he participated as a group leader in the Formula Student Team “Fast Forest” and during his master studies he spent one semester at the Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand.
After graduation, he worked at Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Friedrichshafen. His tasks included the modeling of various sensors and motion models, the integration of simulation software into test systems, the analysis of various logistics processes and the implementation of artificial intelligence within the simulation landscape.
He started his PhD project in the first quarter of 2022.
