Short vita
Abdullah Alshra’a is a research assistant and part of the Quality of Service group in the chair of Computer Networks and Communication Systems. He studied Computer science at Al al-Bayt University in Jordan for both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. In his Master’s degree thesis, Abdullah focused on solving the problem of electing the cluster head in wireless sensor networks. Thereafter, Abdullah continued his academic career in the communication network area and obtained a Ph.D. at Technische Universität Ilmenau in January 2022. In the course of his Ph.D. studies, he published several works regarding cybersecurity in Software-defined networking. Abdullah Alshra’a is currently researching the use of Network Calculus (NC) to provide performance guarantees for communication systems.
